1. Quickly select the entire table
Selecting the entire table by dragging directly? If the table is large, here's a quick shortcut for you. With the cursor positioned in the table, press the Ctrl+A shortcut key to select the current table.
2. Dropdown menu
When entering repetitive data in Excel, a dropdown menu can double your efficiency. Select the cell where you want to set the dropdown menu, click on Data - Data Validation, choose List in the source, and fill in the data [Male, Female].
3. Text wrap
If a cell has a lot of content that needs to be distributed across multiple cells? Adjust the cell width to the width of the characters to be split, then click on Home - Editing - Fill - Justify, to wrap the content into multiple lines.
4. Aligning names left and right
If names have two or three characters, how do you keep the alignment of names left and right? Select the cell - right-click to set the cell format, choose Justify alignment under Horizontal alignment.
5. Batch add units
Add units one by one? Select the cells where you want to add units, right-click to set the cell format - custom, and directly add the unit [元] after the data type.
6. Quickly jump to a specific cell
When the table has a lot of data, it's very convenient to jump to a specific cell quickly. Press F5, enter the target cell in the reference location, then click OK to jump quickly.
7. Copying content skipping rows
How to copy content skipping rows and paste it? Leave the fixed position empty first, then copy the content, when pasting, right-click and choose Paste Special - Skip blank cells, then click OK.
8. Table transpose
Want to transpose the rows and columns of the table without remaking it? With the transpose function, it's super convenient. After copying the cells, right-click and choose Paste Special, check Transpose, and then click OK.
9. Correctly entering ID numbers
With the long ID numbers, E+ may show up when entering. Here's what you can do: after entering the ID, type a symbol [’] (in English mode) before the number.
Alternatively, select the cell, right-click to set the cell format - text, and then enter the ID number.
